  This is probably my favorite Haitian food restaurant. Worth the drive from miami. You have to try their conch, legume and griot!

  The lunch specials are priced at $5.99, which is a great price. The service staff had an attitude and pretty much ignored me as I spoke. When I spoke creole the were more receptive. That is poor customer service in my opinion!
  
  The food was mediocre. I ordered the boulette (beef meatballs, white rice, bean sauce and 2 pieces of fried plantains.) A large portion of my rice had the "gratin" (bottom of the pot rice). It was tooo crunchy for my liking. The meatballs were good. I have no complaints about them. The plaintains were crunchy as hell. I thought I was eating plantain chips. For a Haitian restaurant, I rate this poorly. My people cook better than this

  If you're looking for a sit down Haitian restaurant to spend your money at-- @kasachampet  in Miramar, FL is NOT it. They get an F for failing to serve customers food after a 1.5 hour wait. Not even a glass of water was afforded to my table until five minutes before I and my tablemates (our ladies Foodie Life Group) just decided to take our money elsewhere. Suffice to say "hangry" needs to be added to the DSM 5 because the way my brain and my stomach met up and was tempted to make bad decisions on THIS day!  But @eddyg7777 just preached on "not fighting with flesh and blood" so I left (splitting headache and all). This took place on Sunday 5/19/19. Noelle (who pulled out an old receipt to take our order) did say she was not the one who was supposed to take our Order.
  
  Of all the months to experience POOR customer service---this weekend was not it.   I'm writing this in hopes that improvements are made at this business. The food is great but service is terrible and not worth going back.
  8:15p called & placed order. Was told it would be 20 min.
  8:45p arrived at restaurant.
  8:55p A hostess shows up and addresses me. (no one acknowledged me for at least 10min). Let her know what I ordered. She attended the others who were there waiting.
  9:10p Hostess went to "check on the order". This took her about 7-10min and she came back empty handed.
  
  About 45min after arriving at the restaurant I left, without the order. As I'm pulling out of the parking lot, I see the hostess come running out of the restaurant. She shouts that the food is ready.
  
  I've visited this place 4 or 5 times. I've either dined in or called in my order. The service and wait times were horrible each time. I kept returning in hopes that the service would be better than the last time.
  
  This visit is my last.

  I enjoy the food but the customer service is horrendous! I go there every Friday for my cheat meal and this last experience just left a bad taste and I will never ever go there again. When you call to place order they have you on hold for a long time, no apology and they take forever to get your food.
